The English Chamber Orchestra & Music Society is a charity brought together in the early 1960s by Leopold de Rothschild to further the activities of the, then young, English Chamber Orchestra in its concert giving activities in the UK and abroad. The Society is honoured by the patronage of HRH King Charles III. To achieve its aims it raises funds both through the concerts it promotes and by corporate and individual donations. In addition to its concert giving activities the Society has recently been most supportive of the Orchestra’s outreach work.
